Board Retreat Facilitator
Are you looking for a facilitator for your next board retreat? If yes, then the National Charter Schools Institute can help. All of our facilitators have 20-30 years experience working with schools and boards. Most of our facilitators have served as school leaders in the pubic or private sector. Their individual expertise includes such things as governance fundamentals, strategic planning, and board/CEO assessment.
Our standard one-day governance seminar begins with an online assessment of your board’s current practices. A facilitator will spend a day with your board analyzing your assessment results as well as making specific recommendations for improving your board’s governance capacity. As part of the governance seminar each board member receives a copy of the book, Charter School Board University authored by the Institute’s CEO, Brian L. Carpenter.
