In episode 1, we’ll unpack field trip policies and procedures to be aware of at the start of the school year.
Episode 1 – Field Trip Policy
Procedure: Teachers must submit a detailed field trip proposal, including objectives, itinerary, and risk assessment, for administrative approval at least four weeks in advance. Parents must provide signed consent forms, and chaperones must be briefed on safety protocols and student supervision. The school nurse should be informed to prepare for any medical needs.
Policy: Establish guidelines for the planning, approval, and execution of field trips to ensure educational value and student safety.
