New Year, New Opportunities!

DearĀ Friends and Colleagues,

I hope your New Year is off to a great start! One of my resolutions is to update you more regularly on the work we are doing at the Institute to inspire hearts and minds and help organizations win for kids.

This month, we will release Epicenter’s new academic and financial dash-boarding capabilities. This promises to be a game changer as Epicenter evolves into a portfolio and performance management system where schools, boards, authorizers, and support organizations share information, monitor progress, and assess results.

Our board governance programs and publications continue to be in high demand. We recently collaborated with the Texas Charter Schools Association to deliver a day long board workshop as part of their state conference. Now, we are partnering with the New Jersey Charter Schools Association to deliver a dynamic one day Board Institute to be held in conjunction with their annual conference in March. We are also automating our comprehensiveĀ Board Policy ServiceĀ in order to more effectively serve our Michigan clients and are examining ways to make this service available to boards in other states.
