Charter Support Organizations (CSO’s) have a standard independent, non-profit organizational framework in common and exist in most states active in the charter school movement. However, CSO’s do vary in capacity and form state by state with some serving specific communities or the entire state as membership organizations for the variety of stakeholders including schools, authorizers or boards. We at the Institute recognize the important role that CSOs hold in advocating for and supporting quality charter schools.
Whether the CSO focuses on advocacy, provides technical assistance or coordinates a service marketplace, the experienced Institute team stands ready to grow your impact without adding full-time hires. Our team of former CSO founders and executive leadership can assist as a strategic thought partner or as a leader coach. We can also provide CSO Board training, lead an organizational and service audit with a gap analysis or increase the technical assistance provided to stakeholders and members. Engage us to help your CSO make the difference as you guide the school community towards growing and supporting the number of high quality schools.
